A story that speaks about taste, good food and quality. A story that starts from the selection of the best charcuterie pigs, and continues at every stage of slaughter and production processes, up to the maturing, storage and distribution of the final product.

The "Salumificio Micheletti" was founded in 1960 in Lucca thanks to the foresight and commitment of the founder: Armando Micheletti.

From the beginning, the characteristic flavors of the cured meats produced earned the appreciation of consumers. The small artisan craftsmanship evolved with his son Angelo, becoming an increasingly renowned and constantly growing reality.

Today, thanks to the third generation of managers Nicola and Massimiliano, and thanks to the valuable staff of over ten collaborators, the company has evolved further. The production structure can now count on a meat transformation process that combines new technologies with skilful handwork, making Salumificio Micheletti one of the most important production companies in the sector, in the whole Tuscany area.

Our Philosophy

One of our priorities is to guarantee to our customers the high quality standard and the best food safety. For this reason, in the wake of an ancient knowledge, we only choose first choice meats, coming from the best farms, and select aromas and spices of the highest quality. We work our raw materials with the needed time, cutting the meats by hand and respecting the slow maturation times of the cured meats, in search of excellence in taste.

Our Values

Thanks to the careful selection of first-class suppliers and through the continuous analyzes carried out by the quality department, Salumificio Micheletti is able to guarantee the absence of gluten, lactose and milk proteins across the entire range of products.
Ours is not a comfortable choice, dictated by the fashion or convenience, but a conscious choice, in respect of animals, health and of the environment, and particularly appreciated by meat lovers.
